ESI Silicone Fuel Grips
ESI grips are the best grips I have ever used. They are lighter than anything I have ever tried and are very durable. They held up to the mudfest in Snowshoe, West Virginia when everyone else's grips were coming off. I won't use any other grip but the best and that is ESI grips!

ESI Road Grips
After using the grips on the MT. Bike for the last 2 years, I was excited to see Gary release the road bike version. As expected, they are extremely comfortable. It is my feeling that these grips really help to reduce fatigue in my hands, arms, and shoulders on long road races. This enables a more relaxed ride on descents and better control.

ESI Grips
I discovered ESI Silicone Grips at Interbike '04 and have been using them ever since. I am amazed at the fact that they do not seem to wear or compress with time. They are extremely comfortable and never rotate on the bar. The shock-absorbing comfort, durability, and light weight have lived up to your claims and exceeded my expectations!

2004 Race Season My wife and I met you folks at the Fat Tire Classic in Walnut CA last fall. We bought the thin grips for my Blur and the thick ones for her Scalpel. My wife was recovering from carpal tunnel surgery and these grips have been a real help. I like the reduced shock and vibration but the thin part in the front makes them more responsive when sprinting or climbing. At the Sea Otter Classic we saw you again and I got a thick pair for my new fully ridged KHS singlespeed. They work great.
Thanks Again, George Bolte

Stabilizer SX and Stabilizer DX
2003 Race Season I got a chance to try out the Extreme Steering stabilizer early in the season last year on both of my bikes and immediately fell in love with it. The stabilizer system does several things for me. First, it is very easy to install and maintain on the bikes. Second, it provides constant pressure on the handlebars that is adjustable for your own liking. This pressure really cuts down on the free movement of the steering while in turns, bouncing over rough terrain and the constant vibrating that causes arm pump on those fast XC sections and especially on the DH courses. It really increases the comfort level of my arms through the course. Lastly, the icing on the cake was that it improved my times noticeably and more importantly, enabled me to rebound better after a long Saturday of either XC or DH to race well on Sunday in my other discipline. I had no mechanical problems with the stabilizer system throughout the season on either of my bikes and both took a real beating.
I had the system on my Marin XC bike and my Mountain Cycle DH bike. I honestly feel that the Extreme Steering stabilizer system played an important role in my ability to win more races last year than ever before. I won the Team Big Bear Amateur Cup Series in XC and placed 2nd in the DH in the 18 and under category. I also won the 18 and under California State Championship in both XC and DH riding this system.
I am proud to have Extreme Steering as a sponsor and will definitely continue to ride with this system on my bikes in 2004 and beyond. I encourage anyone who wants to improve their riding comfort and times while cutting down on fatigue and arm pump to try this product. I’m sure you will agree that this is one of those bike parts that once you get used to, you find you can’t ride without.

ESI Silicone Grips
2003 Race Season I use Extreme Steering’s silicone grips on not only my DH and XC bikes, but also on my BMX bike. Between these 3 bikes, the grips have been put through everything you could imagine. They have been wet, sandy, muddy and dumped onto every surface that one could ride on. They have managed to hold up very well and maintain a great grip. I have not had any problems with them sliding off the bars. After one full year of having them on my bikes, only one set is ready to be replaced due to rocks finally tearing away enough of the material. I would recommend these grips to anyone who is tired of having their rubber grips fail to provide a good grip under all conditions.

ESI Grips 2003
Just wanted to say after being a faithful user of the specialized grips and since Scott Products decided not to make their grips anymore, I've found the perfect grip again!! Thanks ExtremeSteering.com for the best grips I've used in the last 7 years. Being a Bike tech and salesperson, at the Competitive Edge Cyclery, provides me with the opportunity to try various grips. Guess what? I have them on all of my bikes and of course they're all Cannondales. Thanks!
Sincerely, Umaro The Competitive Edge Cyclery

Put the grips on in May at Big Bear. They don't slip and haven't shown any sign of wear and tear. I ride in New England and its been wet all Spring and Summer. They are the best grips I've used. They absorb shock which is also important. Lydia Barter Norba Masters Female 50-54 Expert 2002/2003 National Champion 2002/2003 World Champion |

I rode the practice runs all day with the lock on grips and by the end of the day my hands were cramping up and aching. Then I put the Extreme Grips on and the next day my hands were awesome!

After beating up my hands on my pre-ride at Sea Otter this year I picked up a set of grips from Extreme Steering. I've always had problems with my hands and was concerned about fatigue on race day. These grips are awesome! I had a great race thanks to a great degree to my new grips. They were terrific on Firestone's bumpy course too!
