ESI's ergonomic Fit Grips are designed for a completely natural hand position on your handlebar. Our new designs balance the pressure that your hands exert onto the handlebars, increasing bar control dramatically.

Fit XC and CR grips have three distinct areas:
    • INNER - This area is the perfect step up for your hands to rest against for maximum bar control in turns.
    • MIDDLE - This area is perfect for extra torque and powering while climbing.
    • OUTER - This thickest area is for better hand comfort, especially while descending.
Each area of the Fit Grip flows flawlessly into each other creating the perfect hand placement naturally. Your hands instantly feel comfort when they grasp their unique shape, as if they were exclusively molded for your hands.

The difference between Fit XC and Fit CR:

    • XC stands for Extra Chunky, Chunky Mix
    • CR stands for Chunky, Racer's Mix
NOTE:
The Fit XC is the large version and the Fit CR is the small version
    • If you are currently running Racer's grips go for the CR!
    • If you are running Extra Chunky go for the XC!
    • If you are running Chunky you can go either way!

Installation Instructions

Install bar plugs prior to the grips. Use a generous amount of evaporative liquid like isopropyl alcohol or hand sanitizer. Stand on opposite side of bike and pull grips onto bar with towel quickly. Watch here

BEST GRIPS I'VE EVER USED

I've been a huge fan of ESI products for many years, as has our entire race team. Grips thickness and type are typically a personal preference and ESI has always had a great selection. However, when I tried these FIT CR grips, my hands fell in LOVE! I focus on ultra endurance MTB racing. These grips are amazing and they truly played a part in winning my national championship in 2022. Don't underestimate the importance of the feel you get through your grips....it's one of two main points of direct contact between you and the ground. The FIT CR grips give you the perfect blend of comfort without blocking the feel of what your tires are doing on the ground. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have been using ESI grips for years, and they are my favorite grips. I personally love the Fit CR's the best because I have small hands and while I have used some of the other grips these just fit my hands the best. I also love how much dampening the grips have. The grips help to take up a lot of the roughness that trails throw at you.

Over the years of my mountain bike riding and racing, I've used several different types of ESI Grips. My current hardtail bike is set up for XC racing and riding style with a 120mm travel fork. As such, I've alternated between the Fit XC and the Fit CR as seen here. For my current taste, the blend of comfort and control that the CR offers my medium-sized hand is perfect. The larger ends fit my palm and side of hand well, while the taper allows me the room I need to modulate my brake levers. As ever, a thoughtful approach to the nuances of how to hold a handlebar!
