WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
Thickness of your grip is personal preference. Our grips have a wide range of sizes from our thinnest grip (Racer's Edge) to our thickest grip (Fatty's/Plush) to match all hand sizes and comfort levels. Check out our full Sizing Guide below!
First, I should say I have ESI grips on my mountain bikes and commuter bike and LOVE them. Even though they aren't textured, they somehow remain grippy even when sweaty. Perhaps best of all, they never get gooey like other grips. I got these extra long grips to put on my gravel bike with drop bars. The grips extend from below the brake levers all the way to the bar ends, which is exactly what I was aiming for. One thing I didn't think of is that the thickness of the grip reduces the radius of curvature of the bars below the brake lever so that it is a bit too short to fit my hand now. I wish they made a regular thickness in this length, but they only make chunky and extra chunky. Otherwise, they are the perfect grip!
